For over 40 year’s Wyoming Arts Alliance has worked to improve the climate for the arts and culture across Wyoming. Each year we continue that tradition by offering a day of cultural recognition and learning in and around the Wyoming State Capitol. This year’s program will highlight the important work of our partners in the humanities and feature the inaugural Arts Champion Award—as we and our partners feed the body and mind.
ART Learning Sessions
Cultural Recognition Day began many years ago as Arts Advocacy Day,—and continues to be Wyoming’s premiere arts-focused legislative learning experience. The acronym ART stands for Act, Report, Train—and encompasses the facets of the learning experience.
Arts & Culture leaders are invited to join WyAA’s Cultural Champions for a series of experiences and workshops that are designed to introduce participants to the legislative process, citizen engagement opportunities and resources, and issues affecting the arts and creative industries.
